Online news site Buffalo Beast is currently unavailable thanks to an overwhelming number of hits for an audio clip between a prankster and the Governor of Wisconsin.
Ian Murphy, Buffalo Beast editor and journalist, phoned the Governor's office pretending to be the billionaire conservative Republican David Koch.
He was put straight through to the Governor and had a 20 minute conversation that included discussion about the ongoing Wisconsin union debate.
A spokesperson confirmed Walker's voice on the audio clip.
However it seems Murphy failed to get much out of the Governor and Walker's office is not unhappy about the posting.
Reportedly there is nothing inflammatory in the clip and it appears Walker has little to be embarrassed about, rather it demonstrates he stands up for what he believes in public and in private.
As for Buffalo Beast, they didn't come off so well, as the site crashed as a result of hits from those searching for the clip.
